In 1925, Vittorakis E. Eftychios started by opening a small grocery store in the main alley of the village. Over the years, Eftychios and his wife, Evangelia, moved to a larger place in the square of the village, where in difficult years, they were serving tens of villages with everything people needed to survive during those years.
Today, his son, Yiannis, and his wife, Sophia, warm, hospitable, honest, and hardworking people, continue their tradition for several years, along with their children, driven by their love and contribution to their homeland.

On our shelves, our guests will be able to find the best pure authentic cretan products, with an emphasis on our own production of extra virgin olive oil, wine, tsikoudia (raki), salted olives, and spoon sweets. In addition, honey from local producers, traditional pasta, a variety of colt cuts, a range of cretan cheese, yogurt, delicious cretan gruyere and tarhana, fruits and vegetables, legumes, a range of Cretan rusks, biscuits, jams, greek marshmallows, a variation of dried nuts and fruit, traditional pastries, a collection of cretan wines, liqueur and juices. Last but not least, our grocery store offers the finest herbs from the White Mountains and our local area.
