HSA is a non-profit organisation, founded in 1975, currently numbering 400 members engaged in all aspects of ship broking, chartering, sale & purchase of ships. 2015 marks the 45-year anniversary of uninterrupted strong presence of the Association in the maritime industry, with active intervention in and interaction with other international maritime fora and organisations. Our aim is to assist our members to demonstrate tangible commitment to quality, highest professional standards and ethical conduct, as well as to promote our members’ interests.

HSA's Educational Committee is responsible for the SGC (Shipbroking Gnosis Certificate), organises seminars and participates in maritime fora, industry sessions and other events of the sector. The Chartering Committee and the Sale and Purchase Committee of our Association have been long established, and consist of a panel of experienced professional broker members who provide up to date information and advice to our members. The Hellenic Shipbrokers Association has been awarded 2 international prizes during last year alone, for its continuous contribution to the Greek Shipping Education and the Training and Entrepreneurship of industry professionals.
