I was born and raised in the heart of the ancient Olympic Games, in Ancient Olympia, where I was introduced to its culture and passionately engaged in the history and culture of Greece. I studied History - Archaeology at the National - Kapodistrian University of Athens. When I graduated, I taught History and Ancient Greek in Secondary Education and in adult educational institutions. I continued my studies at the Guides Department of the National University of the Aegean and became a professional Certified Tour Guide. Now I work mainly at the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Ancient Olympia, where I have the opportunity to share my passion for my hometown and my knowledge of its history with visitors from all over the world.

As a professional tour guide, I have the privilege of touring the pan-Hellenic place of worship of Zeus and the temple of Hera, in front of which the lighting of the Olympic Flame is held today. At the ancient Olympic Stadium, visitors can take part in the Stadium competition and learn how the ancient sports were conducted. The tour culminates with the coronation of the winners. Together with parents and children at the archeological site of Olympia we can share incredible stories about ancient heroes-winners and gain experiential experiences feeling like athletes or pilgrims of that time.
