Evi Avdelidou has studied Pshilosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology and is a licensed psychologist, having completed her master's in School Psychology (University of Athens). Her Phd thesis in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki concerns Cinema in Education. Her work experience includes Programs Of Education of Immigrants and Repatriated Students (University of Thessaly), the Community Centre of Psychological Health-Aegenetion Hospital, Arsakeia Tositseia Schools and SOS Children's Villages. She works for PLAYING (Greek Non Profit Scientific Organization). She has made publications and presentations in national and international congresses. She has been the conductor of seminars both about cinema and psychology. She also completed her first year of training in Playback Theatre. She has experience in psychological assessment, consultation, professional consultation and psychotherapy of children, adolescents and emerging adults, as well as of individual and group consultation of parents and educators. She also uses cinema for therapy.
