The film tells the story of Edward, a British Empire official serving in Burma in 1918, who decides to run away from his fiancée, Molly, on the eve of their wedding in London. Refusing to abandon her promise of love, Molly embarks on an epic chase, following Edward across Asia: Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines.
Set against the backdrop of the crumbling British Empire, The Grand Tour weaves an epic romance unlike anything the cinema has offered in recent years.
