A polyphonic work about the wonders, joys, victories – but also oppression – that the female body has experienced over the centuries. A marvellous cast of twelve women of different ages and backgrounds makes up a dynamic Chorus that celebrates the pains as well as the pleasures of femininity through the prism of the physical self. The director, Eleni Efthymiou, and her all-women creative team have created a production that speaks in a bold and poetic way about female affairs, but that will also resonate with all genders.
