On Saturday 28th and on Sunday 29th June at Gazarte we welcome Morgan Jay, one of the most popular and viral stand-up comedians and musicians of his generation, in a one-man show you never expected to see in Greece.
Morgan Jay is a first-generation American immigrant artist based in Los Angeles. Originally from New Jersey, he began his career in New York City where he attended the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. With over six years of stand-up experience, he has developed a unique style that combines music and comedy. His love for RnB and Bossa Nova is reflected in the tunes he creates, attracting both music and comedy lovers to his unique shows, which have made him very popular on social media and TikTok.
Morgan Jay has created his own unique genre of artistic expression and comedy, basing his performances on the intelligence, inspiration, authenticity and intimacy of the sounds and jokes he produces to a machine-gun rhythm. His show draws its strength from shared experiences and connection with the audience, making them feel part of the same story. Through this approach, he manages to bring laughter and music into perfect harmony, creating an experience that is completely improvised, yet brilliantly authentic and unique for all those lucky enough to see him in person.
Morgan Jay studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he received a multi-dimensional education in music, theatre and performance. His career has seen him perform on popular platforms such as MTV's Wild 'N Out, NBC and Comedy Central.
