The play follows the adventurer Anna Firling, known as Mother Courage, as she struggles to survive. She exploits the war by selling goods to soldiers on the battlefields, while trying in vain to protect her three children. A profoundly anti-war work, but at the same time extremely parabolic, Mana Couragio is about the struggle to survive, about the most tragic loss - the death of children - and the always high price of profit.
